Job description
The Department Manager at COS in Kuwait is responsible for leading and developing the department team to maximize sales and minimize stock loss. The role involves working on the shop floor alongside staff to demonstrate excellent customer service, ensuring Sales Associates are knowledgeable and motivated. The Department Manager deputizes for the Store and Assistant Store Manager during periods of absence, ensuring smooth store operations. Key responsibilities include training and developing team members, delegating tasks efficiently, conducting interviews, negotiating with customers and colleagues, and maintaining high standards of commercial and operational performance. Proficiency in MS Office tools and awareness of business and commercial objectives are essential for this role.
