Job description
A landmark multipurpose venue is taking shape at the heart of Riyadh, built for year round use across sports, entertainment, culture and community events, and cost management for it runs through this role. You oversee cost planning, procurement and commercial management across the project lifecycle, working across both ongoing and new commissions. Safety, quality, sustainability and compliance standards get championed from this seat, backed by a people focused approach to project governance. Feasibility studies, procurement strategy and contract selection all pass through your desk, with commercial advice given from inception through to delivery. Cost planning, estimating, valuation and reporting sit at the center of the job, kept under control so decisions stay informed throughout. Contractual and commercial processes extend to contract administration, claims evaluation, final accounts and project close out. Teams working under this role get developed and managed directly, with continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement built into how the function operates. Net zero ambitions and industry best practice run through the whole remit, shaping decisions alongside the usual commercial and regulatory demands.
