Job description
The Cloud Consultant at Red Hat will guide the on-site delivery and implementation of modern Red Hat technologies, with a focus on OpenShift, OpenStack, and RHEL. The consultant will work closely with enterprise customers to assess infrastructure, provide solutions, and deliver high-quality outcomes across industries, including telco. This role requires technical depth in Red Hat cloud solutions, customer engagement skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving business and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing technical, developmental, or strategic IT needs.
- Produce quality results and support multiple projects across industries.
- Keep stakeholders updated on issues that may affect project or company performance.
- Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification, design, testing, and deployment of open source solutions.
- Provide written project documentation for Red Hat and customer management teams.
- Adapt to changing customer requirements and environments.
- Communicate value, progress, and metrics of projects to diverse stakeholders.
- Constantly learn and apply new Red Hat and open source technologies.
- Travel up to 100% to customer locations.
Experience & skills
- Experience in consulting or related role.
- Experience with enterprise-wide deployments.
- Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Expertise with Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat OpenStack Platform.
- Telco industry experience is a strong plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, and planning abilities.
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or willingness to certify within 90 days.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Saudi nationality preferred; must be located in Saudi Arabia.
