Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a structured sales strategy and business plan for the assigned HNWI client segment to ensure achievement of monthly and annual home finance targets, while actively expanding sales channels in alignment with the overall sales strategy.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers by ensuring agreed turnaround times (TAT) are consistently met, delivering exceptional customer service to maximize satisfaction, encourage referrals, and enhance long-term client retention.
- Conduct thorough documentation reviews and preliminary credit assessments in line with DIB credit guidelines before submitting cases to the credit team, ensuring high approval rates and eliminating discrepancies in submitted files.
- Manage and update all leads within the CRM system on a daily basis, tracking follow-ups, maintaining accurate pipeline visibility, and generating daily sales and monthly pipeline MIS reports to monitor conversion ratios and future opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive summaries of existing and prospective clients for regular engagement, promotional updates, and referral generation, ensuring consistent communication and business growth opportunities.
- Stay updated on all home finance product parameters, Islamic finance structures, competitor offerings, and market developments to effectively position products and provide well-informed recommendations to clients.
- Ensure all sales activities strictly adhere to regulatory requirements, internal compliance standards, Sharia principles of Islamic finance, and audit guidelines to mitigate risk and maintain portfolio quality.
- Execute all assigned tasks and special projects within approved departmental policies, procedures, SLAs, and service quality standards while embodying the bank’s core value of ‘Customer First’ in all interactions.
Experience & skills
- A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, providing a strong foundation in financial concepts and banking operations.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the banking sector, preferably within home finance or mortgage sales, with demonstrated exposure to HNWI client management.
- Strong knowledge of Islamic finance principles and Sharia-compliant home finance structures, with the ability to explain complex financial products clearly to clients.
- Proven understanding of mortgage documentation requirements, home finance commercial terms, and internal credit evaluation processes to ensure accurate and high-quality submissions.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards within the UAE banking sector, with a clear understanding of risk mitigation and audit expectations.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills to assess client affordability, repayment structures, and risk factors associated with home finance transactions.
- Experience in CRM systems, MIS reporting, and pipeline management, with the ability to track performance metrics and manage multiple client cases simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, combined with strong customer service capabilities including service recovery and complaint handling.
- Ability to work under sales pressure, manage targets effectively, and maintain high professionalism and integrity in all client dealings.
