Job description
We are seeking a talented GCC IR Sales Assistant Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing the Smartphone, Tablet & APS segments in the GCC IR (Independent Retail) channel. They are responsible for supporting the local GCC Key Account Managers (KAMs) in the planning and execution of trade marketing and KPI management and reporting to internal stakeholders, which will lead to sales target achievement, M/S improvement and PSI optimization.

Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute strategies to deliver targets for Market share, Turnover and Profitability with IR channel partners.
- Develop and sustain sales strategies with an objective of Maximizing Sell-Out and enhancing Brand Equity.
- Liaise with the local GCC KAMs on a daily basis to ensure direct communication on all key aspects of the business, which includes Sell-In management, Sell-out management and Promotion planning.
- Forecast management - Ensure weekly Sell-In, Sell-Out planning, forecasting, and replenish cycle is properly managed in alignment with the corporate strategy and Product planning.
- Conduct market trend analysis and work closely with the local GCC KAMs to develop plans to expand business.
- Reports and Presentations - Ability to deliver high-quality reports and presentations to management on business trends, internal reports, etc.
Experience & skills
- 5-8 years of extensive experience in Sales Management in reputed Consumer Electronic brands preferably with Mobile products knowledge
- Postgraduate degree in business management is an advantage.
- Ability to perform and work under different conditions and as a team player.
- Understand IR Mobile market dynamics and derive quick solutions.
- Good networking within the local industry.
- Extensive sales thinking and pro-activeness.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
- Self-starter being able to work under minimum supervision.
- Ability to travel to GCC countries (except KSA) is a must.
- Ability to read, analyse, and interpret sales/financial reports, data and studies.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, distributors, or members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or clients.
- Market knowledge in either Qatar, UAE, Oman, Bahrain or Kuwait
- Computer literate and advanced user of MS office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge in Sell-in, Sell-thru, Sell-out
- Strong stakeholders management skills
