Job description
Jumeirah Group is hiring a Director of Human Resources to lead regional HR initiatives across its iconic portfolio, including corporate and property-level operations. The role is pivotal in shaping people strategies, governance frameworks, and talent management programs that align with Jumeirah's global luxury brand standards. As a senior HR leader, you will collaborate closely with hotel GMs and HR Directors, driving strategic outcomes in workforce planning, compliance, engagement, and performance. This opportunity is ideal for HR executives with luxury brand exposure and regional management experience across culturally diverse environments.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Partner with GMs and property HRDs to design and execute HR strategies aligned with brand and business objectives
- Guide HR teams on succession planning, organizational design, employee relations, and talent development
- Lead regional governance for human capital, ensuring adherence to group policies, DOAs, contracts, and audit standards
- Develop and track HR success metrics (e.g., KPIs, engagement scores, retention rates, productivity ratios)
- Oversee audit readiness, proactively resolving control issues to ensure compliance across properties
- Build strong relationships with senior leadership to influence organizational outcomes and workforce strategy
- Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence across all Jumeirah Group entities
Experience & skills
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience, preferably within international hospitality or blue-chip luxury organizations
- Experience in regional HR leadership roles, with exposure to culturally diverse and geographically dispersed teams
- Strong knowledge of employment law, organizational planning, and talent management frameworks
- Proven ability to navigate complex organizations and drive HR transformation through strong interpersonal influence
- Track record in leading HR governance, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple assets or units
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and executive advisory skills
- Bachelorās degree required; HR certifications or Master's degree is an advantage
