Job description
The Revenue Manager is responsible for developing and executing the hotel’s commercial and revenue strategies to maximize profitability across all revenue streams. Working closely with the General Manager and commercial leadership, the role oversees revenue planning, pricing strategies, and performance analysis for rooms, food and beverage outlets, and other revenue-generating services. The Revenue Manager ensures accurate forecasting, market analysis, and reporting while guiding the reservations and commercial teams to achieve the hotel’s financial objectives and maintain competitive positioning within the market.

Key responsibilities
- Develop, lead, and communicate the hotel’s commercial strategy in collaboration with the General Manager to maximize revenue performance
- Identify revenue growth opportunities and potential risks across all revenue streams including rooms, food and beverage, and other hotel services
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the reservations team ensuring effective handling of enquiries, pricing strategies, and sales processes
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of revenue analysis, financial evaluations, and commercial performance reporting
- Prepare and manage revenue forecasts, budgets, and market trend reports to support financial planning and decision making
- Analyze and improve the performance of food and beverage outlets by developing annual revenue plans in collaboration with the F&B Manager
- Develop performance measurement tools and benchmarking mechanisms to track revenue performance across departments
- Lead pricing strategies for hotel rooms, ensuring optimal revenue generation and alignment with market positioning
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development to create and execute the annual Sales and Marketing Plan
- Provide market insights and pricing guidance for rate negotiations across all market segments
- Monitor distribution channels to ensure price parity, accurate hotel positioning, and competitive market placement
- Conduct feasibility studies and ad-hoc commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Communicate commercial performance updates to key stakeholders including management, ownership, and corporate teams
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or yield management roles, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical modeling and data-driven decision making
- Proven experience developing and implementing successful pricing and revenue optimization strategies
- Proficiency in revenue management systems and analytical tools used within the hospitality sector
- Experience in forecasting methodologies, demand modeling, and revenue planning
- Strong ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and leading revenue-focused projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to achieve commercial objectives
