Job description
The Store Manager role in Dammam is a frontline retail leadership position responsible for overseeing end-to-end store operations, ensuring excellent customer experience, and driving strong commercial performance. The role requires managing daily store activities including sales execution, staffing, inventory control, merchandising, financial transactions, and customer service standards. The Store Manager is accountable for achieving sales targets and improving store profitability through team coaching, operational discipline, and execution of company promotional and merchandising strategies. The role includes leadership of a diverse retail team, ensuring recruitment, training, scheduling, and ongoing performance management are effectively handled to maintain a high-performing workforce. Additionally, the Store Manager ensures compliance with financial procedures, including POS transactions, cash handling, and daily reconciliation processes. Strong focus is placed on inventory accuracy, stock availability, and visual merchandising consistency aligned with brand standards. The role also involves preparing operational and performance reports, managing customer escalations, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and employment regulations. - Oversee full daily store operations by ensuring a safe, clean, and customer-friendly environment that aligns with company standards and local regulatory requirements, while maintaining operational discipline across all retail activities.
- Drive store sales performance by setting clear targets, continuously monitoring performance metrics, and actively coaching team members to achieve and exceed individual and store-level commercial objectives.
- Lead recruitment, training, scheduling, and development of store employees by providing structured onboarding, continuous feedback, performance evaluations, and coaching to build a motivated and customer-focused team.
- Manage inventory operations including stock replenishment, product availability, and merchandising execution by coordinating with logistics and purchasing teams to maintain optimal stock levels and visual standards.
- Ensure accurate financial operations by supervising POS transactions, managing cash handling procedures, performing daily reconciliations, and enforcing compliance with internal financial controls and policies.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by handling escalated complaints, monitoring service standards, and implementing corrective actions and improvements based on customer feedback and experience insights.
- Implement and execute promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and visual merchandising guidelines to maximize store sales performance and maintain consistent brand presentation across all product categories.
- Prepare, analyze, and submit regular performance reports including sales figures, staff productivity, inventory status, and KPIs, while actively participating in store meetings and operational reviews.
Experience & skills
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification, with additional education in business, retail management, or related fields considered an advantage for enhanced operational understanding.
- Proven experience in retail store management or assistant store management roles with demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage operations, and achieve sales targets in a retail environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams, resolve conflicts, and develop staff performance in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Arabic, with English proficiency considered an advantage for reporting, coordination, and cross-functional communication.
- Practical experience using retail systems including POS terminals, inventory management tools, and basic office productivity software such as Google Workspace or equivalents.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail for managing cash handling, budgeting, sales tracking, and inventory accuracy across store operations.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including weekends and occasional evenings while maintaining high performance and operational consistency under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred to support mobility for store-related operational needs and regional coordination within Dammam.
