Job description
The Associate | Audit and Assurance | Typist role in Muscat focuses on typing and preparing documents in Arabic and English with specific emphasis on financial reports within an Audit & Assurance context. Responsibilities include producing Audit & Assurance reports, Engagement Letters and Proposals, Agreements and Contracts, Letters of Engagement and client correspondence, tax-related documents, and all types of reports and correspondences. The role also involves ensuring office-related issues encountered through the role are communicated to the management team, responding to straightforward correspondence via email, written, telephone communication, assisting with other administrative duties as required, and supporting Deloitte’s purpose and shared values. The position requires well-developed skills and knowledge of Arabic and English typing; proficiency with standard office computer software including word-processing, databases, and spreadsheets; the ability to use email and Internet applications; and the capability to handle documents that emphasize financial reporting accuracy within Audit & Assurance deliverables, maintaining trust and confidentiality in administration.

Key responsibilities
- Type and prepare documents in Arabic and English with emphasis on financial reports for Audit & Assurance deliverables

Experience & skills
- Well-developed skills and knowledge of Arabic and English typing

- Ability to effectively communicate by telephone, face to face, email, and written formats and to work within a team
- Knowledge and proficient use of standard office computer software including word-processing, databases, and spreadsheets
