Job description
The Senior Finance Analyst role at PwC in Al Khobar is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of Finance Managed Service operations within the Finance Service Tower. PwC operates across the Middle East with a strong regional presence and global network, delivering advisory, assurance, and tax services. This role focuses on processing finance transactions, producing required reports, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across core finance processes. The position spans Accounts Payable and Order to Cash operations, including full ownership of accounting activities, reconciliations, invoice processing, cash application, collections, and financial reporting. The Senior Finance Analyst manages monthly and quarterly closing activities, supports accountants and controllers, enforces internal compliance policies, performs daily internal audits, maintains exception logs, and ensures adherence to SLAs. In the Order to Cash domain, the role involves managing cash office reconciliations, resolving unidentified cash, handling cash shortages and overages, coordinating payroll recovery, managing credit card settlements and chargebacks, following up on disputes, and performing collections activities. The role requires strong accounting knowledge in P2P and O2C processes, financial data analysis, reconciliation of transactions, and close coordination with merchants, customers, and internal stakeholders, while operating in a compliance-driven, service-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day Finance Managed Service operations across core finance processes for PwC customers
- Own accounts payable accounting and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end information
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports as required
- Review, process, and release invoices for payment while resolving invoice-related issues
- Resolve vendor queries and requests received via email or ticketing systems within agreed SLAs
- Maintain exception logs for process-related exceptions and ensure knowledge retention
- Perform transactional finance tasks supporting compliance, planning, and execution of assigned processes
- Enforce internal compliance policies and management guidelines during daily operations
- Conduct daily internal audits to ensure invoices and queries are balanced per guidelines
- Maintain exception trackers and ensure resolution of invoice and query discrepancies
- Identify and rectify unidentified cash and manage end-to-end cash office reconciliations
- Identify exceptions in cash reconciliations and follow up with stores for closure
- Report cash shortages or overages and initiate payroll recovery as per policy thresholds
- Work with merchants on credit card settlement issues and chargebacks
- Follow up on customer and internal disputes and coordinate resolution across departments
- Perform collections activities including customer calls and invoice delivery via email, fax, or mail
- Resolve cash application queries and coordinate with customers
- Support full Order to Cash processes from customer enquiry through sales order, delivery, and invoicing
- Determine financial outcomes by collecting operational data, conducting analysis, and reconciling transactions
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Administration, or equivalent
- Possess a master’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Administration, or equivalent from an accredited university
- Have a minimum of 3–4 years of professional experience in finance operations or managed services
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Procure to Pay and Order to Cash processes with relevant accounting knowledge
- Exhibit excellent written and spoken English proficiency with Arabic language capability preferred
- Demonstrate experience working with diverse people, processes, and technologies, preferably within the Middle East region
- Maintain the ability to operate independently while meeting SLA requirements and compliance standards
