Job description
The Manager Partnerships and Global Steering at Etihad Airways is responsible for driving revenue generation from joint ventures (JVs) and strategic global sales initiatives. This role involves monitoring commercial performance of JVs, advising regional sales and business development teams, and supporting transversal commercial projects, particularly for new destinations. The incumbent must analyze KPIs for trunk routes, align strategies with regulatory and governance frameworks, and ensure actionable, data-driven insights for sales optimization. The role also entails regular performance reviews, building dashboards and structured reporting tools, and contributing to incentive modeling for revenue enhancement. Strong analytical and commercial acumen is required, along with deep familiarity with airline distribution and revenue systems such as PRISM and DDS. Collaboration across internal teams such as Sales Partnership Management, Revenue Management, and Alliances is central to the role, alongside coordination of sales activities tied to the airlineās expanding global network.

Key responsibilities
- Monitor commercial performance of joint ventures and partnerships to ensure strategic alignment
- Track and analyze KPIs for JV trunk routes to identify revenue opportunities and performance gaps
- Advise regional sales teams and BDMs on commercially sound actions to enhance JV contribution
- Support development of route-level business cases and corrective action plans to maximize JV value
- Ensure compliance with ATI governance and JV regulatory agreements
- Coordinate with Sales Partnership Management, Revenue Management, and Alliances on joint initiatives
- Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility on JV performance metrics
- Analyze global account performance across channels using internal and market data (e.g., PRISM, DDS)
- Support strategic incentive modeling aligned with distribution strategy and cost frameworks
- Work with regional BDMs to understand performance gaps and recommend account-level actions
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement to provide inputs on reporting and reference data for global accounts
- Assist in coordinating sales activities for new destination launches with the Business Development Manager
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Business or related fields; Masterās degree is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of experience in airline partnerships, revenue management, or global sales
- Strong analytical background with ability to synthesize and interpret performance data
- Experience managing joint ventures or strategic partnerships across international markets is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of airline commercial and revenue functions
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Highly numerate and skilled in data modeling
- Team player with strong cultural awareness and collaborative mindset
