Job description
Reporting to the Principal and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team at Smart Vision School in Dubai, the Head of MOE Curriculum is accountable for the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum across every year group. Compliance with MoE standards and KHDA regulations is the baseline, with UAE heritage, culture and values embedded in all lessons. Schemes of work, teaching resources and assessment frameworks are developed here, and curriculum sequencing and progression are checked against MoE and KHDA expectations. Attainment and progress data drive interventions, and results are reported to SLT, governors and parents in line with KHDA SEF and SIP priorities. Students of Determination and ELL learners need equitable access, so differentiation and inclusive practice are a constant focus. Where the British or international curriculum also runs, MOE goals have to sit alongside it. Teachers look to you for mentoring and professional development on MOE requirements, and you represent the curriculum at inspections and community events. Candidates should be qualified teachers with 5 to 7 years of experience, including 2 to 3 in curriculum or senior leadership and direct experience leading the MoE curriculum.

- Report accurately and on time to SLT, governors and parents in line with KHDA SEF and SIP priorities
- Contribute measurable MOE outcomes to SEF evaluation and SIP targets
- Secure equitable access to the curriculum for Students of Determination and ELL learners
