Job description
This senior technical role based in Abu Dhabi contributes to pipeline integrity projects by providing discipline expertise, defining and executing scopes of work, leading consultancy services, and supporting business development. The role involves managing integrity assessments, interpreting ILI data, and developing pipeline integrity management systems. The incumbent will lead assessments using recognized codes and methodologies, manage small projects, engage with clients, and work across disciplines. Expertise spans pipeline FFS, fracture mechanics, risk-based inspections, FEA, PDAM, and corrosion assessments. Experience in subsea, non-metallic pipelines, and software tools is advantageous.

Key responsibilities
- Provide discipline expertise in pipeline integrity
- Collect and analyze data for integrity studies
- Lead engineering assessments using standards such as API 579, BS7910, ASME B31G, DNVRP F101
- Manage pipeline integrity for various pipeline sizes and lengths
- Prepare reports including ILI, FFP, RRR, and Direct Assessments
- Recommend repair methods, configurations, and schedules
- Represent asset integrity in projects and contracts
- Support innovation and improvements in data analysis and AI
- Develop and implement pipeline integrity management systems
- Assess corrosion growth using pipetally data and matching techniques
- Define and approve technical scopes
- Contribute to project planning, structure, and delivery methodologies
- Manage scope execution, project delivery, and compliance
- Participate in technical workshops and client representation
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Contribute to business development and proposal preparation
Experience & skills
- Over 10 years of experience in the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry
- Senior technical expertise in pipeline integrity management
- Experience with pipeline integrity software selection and use
- Bachelorās (minimum) or Masterās (preferred) degree in engineering
- Chartership or professional engineering status preferred
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
- Expertise in fitness for service assessments including RSTRENG and FEA
- Experience with PDAM, subsea pipelines, and non-metallic pipeline integrity
- Specialist knowledge in pipe-soil stiffness, pipeline walking, and ILI data analysis
