The Corporate Banking Placement Analyst role at Citi in Dubai is a 6-month placement within the Middle East & Africa Corporate Banking team, offering exposure to institutional banking and corporate banking operations. The role supports senior Corporate Bankers in managing client relationships and executing complex financial transactions while gaining exposure to capital structure advisory, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management, and investment solutions. The analyst participates in accounting and financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, capital markets analysis, fundamental credit and risk analysis, and deal structuring. The position involves liaising with product partners across Citi to deliver comprehensive client solutions and assisting in the preparation and presentation of strategic financial recommendations to clients. The role includes gathering and analyzing company information, performing industry research, and supporting transaction execution across corporate banking mandates. The placement is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to corporate banking, capital allocation, investment execution, and institutional banking processes within a global financial institution. The analyst will work closely with diverse teams and contribute to business development initiatives while developing knowledge of corporate finance, financial markets, and client advisory services. The role requires strong academic performance, analytical capabilities, and interest in financial services and corporate banking, along with fluency in English and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
