Job description
The Senior Business Development Executive is responsible for driving substantial revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. The role focuses on building strategic relationships, identifying business opportunities, and delivering value-based logistics solutions aligned with customer objectives. Acting as a trusted consultant, the executive analyzes customersā broader business strategies and translates them into tailored service offerings that enhance operational performance. The position requires strong collaboration with marketing, solutions, and account management teams to ensure a seamless sales cycle and sustainable commercial success.

- Generate and nurture qualified leads in coordination with vertical and field marketing teams to drive targeted revenue growth.
- Cultivate new business opportunities within assigned geographies using a value-based selling approach.
- Manage and expand existing customer relationships to ensure sustainable revenue growth across regions and product lines.
- Analyze customer business strategies and translate them into value-driven logistics solutions.
- Present tailored solutions to customers, clearly articulating the value proposition aligned with their business goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations.
- Collaborate with solution teams to design innovative offerings that enhance customer operations.
- Work closely with account managers to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Manage all stages of the sales process and maintain accurate customer data in CRM systems.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to identify growth opportunities.
- Network with industry peers and internal stakeholders to share insights and strengthen business performance.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Business or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within logistics and shipping.
- Proven track record of achieving personal and organizational sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience collaborating with global and local leadership teams to develop short- and long-term commercial goals.
- Strong customer focus and ability to build long-term strategic partnerships.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional, team-oriented environments with a growth mindset.
