Job description
Shipa Delivery is an online platform that simplifies parcel delivery across the GCC. The company connects businesses with delivery services through mobile apps and online dashboards, offering options such as on-demand, same-day, next-day, and cross-border deliveries. With real-time tracking and integrated logistics solutions, Shipa Delivery aims to optimize last-mile delivery for businesses. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for strategizing and executing growth plans, identifying and closing new opportunities, and enhancing client engagement to drive revenue. This is a fast-paced, on-site role in Dubai, focused on logistics expansion across the UAE, KSA, and Kuwait.

Key responsibilities
- Be the voice and face of Shipa Delivery in the market
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the domestic last-mile delivery and warehousing sectors
- Generate and manage business opportunities in cross-border logistics between UAE, KSA and Kuwait
- Develop the local and international network of customers and stay on top of requirements
- Create revenue-generating channels from cross selling and upselling to existing clients
- Manage and grow existing business to generate targeted and sustainable revenue
- Develop partnerships to enhance Shipaâs value proposition
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations
- Meet and exceed annual budget objectives through strategic business development
- Monitor sales and operational status, addressing risk factors proactively
- Collaborate with internal teams to plan and prioritize new products or enhancements
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management
Experience & skills
- Degree in business management or related field
- Minimum 5 yearsâ experience in a business growth-related role
- Prior experience in logistics: courier industry, freight and/or warehousing
- Strong knowledge of the local GCC market landscape
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with customer segments like ecommerce, retail, and distribution
- Multilingual communication skills are an advantage
- Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Experience in managing client accounts and building long-term relationships
- Comfort with fast-paced, iterative work environments
