Job description
Senior Training & Development Specialist role within a large construction group based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with occasional travel to Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on delivering and facilitating training sessions across both technical and soft skill areas, supporting the rollout of training programmes across construction sites and corporate teams, and ensuring alignment with company standards and operational requirements. The position requires close collaboration with stakeholders to identify training needs, monitor training effectiveness, and support continuous improvement of learning and development initiatives. The role involves designing and delivering structured training programmes, ensuring workforce development objectives are met, and contributing to capability building within a construction environment. The candidate will work within project-based construction operations, supporting employee development across multiple sites and corporate functions while ensuring training initiatives align with organisational standards and operational performance expectations. Preference is given to Arabic-speaking candidates with experience in construction or similar project-based environments.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and facilitate training sessions across technical construction topics and soft skill development areas to support workforce capability building
- Support the rollout and implementation of training programmes across construction sites and corporate teams ensuring consistent delivery standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop appropriate learning solutions aligned with operational requirements
- Monitor training effectiveness through evaluation methods and feedback mechanisms to support continuous improvement of L&D programmes
- Ensure alignment of training programmes with company standards, operational requirements, and organisational development objectives
- Coordinate training activities across multiple project sites and corporate functions to ensure workforce development consistency
- Support continuous improvement of training materials, delivery methods, and learning outcomes within construction environments
Experience & skills
- Hold bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resource Management or related field
- Demonstrate minimum 5 years of experience in training delivery or learning and development roles
- Possess strong experience delivering structured training programmes and supporting workforce development initiatives
- Demonstrate experience working within construction or project-based environments as a strong advantage
- Hold or demonstrate willingness to obtain L&D or training certifications
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills supporting training needs analysis and programme delivery
- Demonstrate ability to monitor training effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives
