Job description
The Manager â Market Access at DP World plays a pivotal role in driving the companyâs global logistics and trade expansion initiatives through its Market Access vertical. The role focuses on developing end-to-end solutions spanning First, Middle, and Last Mile operations across six key industries: FMCG, Healthcare, Technology and Durables, Industrials and Chemicals, Agriculture and Perishables, and Humanitarian Supplies. The position involves collaborating with the Global EVP of Market Access to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, co-create tailored logistics solutions with producers and brand owners, and refine commercial and operational strategies to enhance DP Worldâs market reach. The Manager will lead business development activities, ensure product relevance across diverse global markets, and contribute to the companyâs mission to simplify and accelerate trade. Additionally, the role entails fostering best practice sharing across regional teams, ensuring seamless customer engagement, and building DP Worldâs position as a thought leader in global market access. The successful candidate will combine commercial acumen, strategic foresight, and operational expertise to drive sustainable growth while championing DP Worldâs culture, values, and commitment to innovation and inclusivity.

- Collaborate with the Global EVP Market Access to identify new opportunities across First, Middle, and Last Mile logistics within defined industry sectors
- Partner with producers and brand owners to co-create tailored logistics and market access solutions that enhance reach and growth potential
- Develop and refine commercial models in collaboration with financial, commercial, and operational teams to ensure competitive and profitable offerings
- Identify required talent, resources, and partnerships to support Market Access initiatives in various geographic regions
- Establish and promote best practices across regional teams, creating a centralized repository for optimized performance and operational excellence
- Implement customer engagement frameworks to ensure visibility, accountability, and satisfaction across accounts
- Monitor and evaluate financial, commercial, and operational performance metrics to ensure delivery exceeds client expectations
- Drive business development through organic growth, joint ventures, and acquisitions aligned with DP Worldâs commercial strategy
- Ensure that Market Access products remain relevant and responsive to evolving market demands and customer expectations
- Represent DP World at industry events, conferences, and workshops to reinforce the organizationâs position as a thought leader in market access solutions
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team that aligns with organizational objectives and fosters innovation and collaboration
- Act as an ambassador for DP Worldâs principles, values, and culture, maintaining the highest standards of safety, ethics, and professionalism
Experience & skills
- Extensive knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or market access functions within international trade sectors
- Proven experience in business development, commercial strategy, and customer engagement in a global or regional capacity
- Strong understanding of multi-industry operations, particularly within FMCG, Healthcare, Technology, Industrials, and Agriculture verticals
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial and operational data to inform strategy and decision-making
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multi-region operations or partnerships
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and clients effectively
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic growth through innovation and partnership development
- Experience participating in or leading joint ventures, acquisitions, or strategic alliances preferred
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities
