Job description
The Acuvue Account Manager in Dubai is responsible for leading customer relationships and driving business within the optical channel. This field-based role involves managing key accounts, negotiating annual contracts, and ensuring alignment with Johnson & Johnson's quarterly plans. The role includes territory business planning, regular reporting via Salesforce (SF.com), and supporting the development of customer knowledge through promotions and new product awareness. Responsibilities also include collaboration with peers for knowledge sharing and skill development, attending training programs, and ensuring resource availability for goal achievement. The Account Manager will work closely with key opinion leaders (KOLs), maintain detailed visit logs, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure that customer needs are effectively communicated internally. The role requires fluency in English and Arabic, prior account management experience, and a degree in Optometry or Pharmaceutical Science. Familiarity with the optical industry is preferred.

Key responsibilities
- Operate as the lead point of contact for optical channel accounts in the assigned territory
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships across account portfolio
- Manage customer accounts including annual contract negotiation and performance tracking
- Communicate Johnson & Johnsonâs quarterly plans of action to customers
- Inform customers about relevant new products and promotions
- Plan client visits (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) and log them in SF.com
- Participate in territory business planning and segmentation with the sales manager
- Attend training and educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills
- Collaborate with peers to improve product knowledge and department effectiveness
- Control availability of resources necessary to meet team objectives
- Submit timely reports and operational data in SF.com and other reporting tools
- Support internal and external customer communication with professionalism
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs)
Experience & skills
- University degree in Optometry or Pharmaceutical Science
- Minimum 2 years of account management experience
- Experience in the optical industry preferred
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong sales motivation with patience and persistence for relationship building
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience using SF.com or similar CRM tools
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and drive customer satisfaction
