Job description
The Key Account Manager - Logistics role at Careem Express is responsible for managing strategic enterprise clients and driving revenue growth across the UAE. This role focuses on acquiring new business opportunities, expanding existing Tier 1 client relationships, and supporting the growth of Careem Express within logistics and last-mile delivery services. The Key Account Manager acts as the primary point of contact for key clients, handling negotiations, coordinating with operations and legal teams, and ensuring successful onboarding and service delivery. The role requires strong business development capabilities, commercial acumen, and operational coordination to deliver sustainable growth. As part of a startup environment within Careem, this position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics operations, improve customer experience, and achieve performance metrics including revenue growth, order volume, and gross profit. The ideal candidate is results-driven, entrepreneurial, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders while driving measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities
- Acquire new enterprise accounts across UAE by identifying prospects, conducting outreach, pitching solutions, negotiating contracts, and managing go-live processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier 1 clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and identifying opportunities for account expansion.
- Achieve monthly revenue targets by driving growth from both new and existing B2B clients within the logistics and delivery sector.
- Lead commercial negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and sustainable pricing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with operations and logistics teams to develop competitive proposals and ensure successful service delivery.
- Coordinate with internal legal teams to finalize contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and requirements.
- Monitor account performance metrics including order volumes, revenue growth, and profitability to optimize business outcomes.
- Manage full P&L responsibility for assigned portfolio and drive continuous improvements in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Experience & skills
- 2–3 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within logistics, e-commerce, or on-demand delivery industries.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
- Strong business development mindset with ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Commercial acumen with experience in negotiations and pricing strategies.
