Job description
The Director, Private Banking – Relationship Manager role at HSBC focuses on managing and developing a portfolio of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients under the Global Private Banking division. Based in ADGM, the role is responsible for client acquisition, asset growth, revenue generation, and maintaining strong client relationships. The position requires expertise in wealth management, private banking services, financial markets, and compliance with internal and external regulations, with fluency in Arabic being mandatory.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop a client portfolio while ensuring administrative support and organization within the team.
- Provide full-service banking and transaction management to high-net-worth clients through the marketing of company services.
- Grow revenue, increase AUM of portfolio, and achieve inflows of net new money by leveraging brand, channels, and RM network.
- Establish new client relationships and manage existing ones to generate new AUM and revenue.
- Collaborate with platform managers to resolve pending items, improve quality, and solve problems.
- Ensure client objectives are met by selecting appropriate products within the portfolio.
- Demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations, and procedures.
Experience & skills
- Graduation degree (mandatory for UAE Visa and Work Permit).
- Extensive relationship management experience within the banking sector.
- Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth, and revenue generation.
- Fluency in Arabic is a must.
- Excellent commercial and negotiation skills.
- Highly developed communication skills for direct client contact and problem solving.
- Strong financial and statistical analysis ability.
- Strong customer service focus.
