Job description
The Human Resources Lead β Payroll & Compliance at Foodics is an on-site, full-time leadership role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role encompasses full expertise across HR functions with a strong emphasis on payroll, compensation, benefits, GOSI, and Saudization compliance. The HR Lead is responsible for managing and developing the HR team, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and talent development. The position requires hands-on experience with Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulations, AML requirements, and FIU STR procedures, ensuring full compliance with Saudi Labor Law, internal policies, and regulatory audits. The HR Lead also provides strategic HR guidance to senior management, supports workforce planning and succession strategies, handles complex employee relations issues, and ensures accuracy and confidentiality of HR data and reports. This role is positioned within a rapidly growing SaaS company serving the MENA region, providing exposure to multi-national teams and regulatory environments.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the HR team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement
- Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and talent development
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi Labor Law, SAMA regulations, GOSI, and Saudization policies
- Act as primary contact with the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) for HR-related audits, reports, and regulatory requirements
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and frameworks aligned with regulatory standards
- Provide strategic HR support and advice to senior management
- Oversee payroll, compensation, benefits, GOSI, and Saudization requirements
- Handle complex employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and investigations
- Lead HR planning, workforce strategy, and succession planning
- Support internal and external audits related to HR and compliance
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR data, systems, and reports
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership or supervisory roles
- Proven experience working with Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulations and requirements
- Knowledge of SAMA AML requirements and FIU STR procedures preferred
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, GOSI, and Saudization policies
- Excellent leadership, people management, and coaching skills
- Strong communication skills in English
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Experience in banking or financial services sector preferred
- HR professional certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent preferred
- Experience managing HR teams within regulated environments preferred
