Job description
The Sales Account Manager ā Public Sector (Saudi National) at Red Hat is responsible for developing and maintaining strong business relationships with clients in the Saudi Arabian public sector. The role focuses on generating revenue by selling software solutions to new and existing customers, understanding client needs, and presenting tailored solutions. The position requires regular client engagement, serving as the primary point of contact, delivering persuasive sales presentations, handling price negotiations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction. The role also involves maintaining accurate sales records using CRM software and providing regular sales forecasts and performance updates to management. This position is open exclusively to Saudi nationals and is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities
- Engage regularly with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide solutions aligned with their business objectives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to potential clients
- Handle price negotiations and contract discussions to close deals while maintaining company profitability
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure effective client service
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, activity reports, and client information using CRM software
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to sales management to assess progress and inform decision-making
Experience & skills
- Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role selling software solutions
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in complex solution sales to large organizations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal stakeholders
- Solid understanding of market dynamics, including customer needs, processes, offerings, and competition
- Exceptional presentation and negotiation abilities
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales-related tools
- Experience with and an existing network in the IT infrastructure market, including operating systems, middleware, virtualization, cloud, and system management
