Job description
The Cybersecurity Analyst - UAE National role focuses on protecting a leading regional firm's IT infrastructure by monitoring network traffic, system logs, and security events to identify and mitigate potential threats or vulnerabilities. Responsibilities include responding to security alerts, supporting security assessments and vulnerability scans, and helping implement and enforce cybersecurity policies. The analyst maintains security tools like firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM systems, while staying updated on emerging threats and best practices. The role involves collaboration with IT and Legal teams for compliance, and participation in cybersecurity awareness programs. Candidates must be UAE Nationals with a Family Book, have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and possess hands-on experience in cybersecurity, including knowledge of threat detection tools, incident response, and familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.

- Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and security events to identify threats or vulnerabilities

Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2ā3 years of experience in a cybersecurity or IT security-related role
- Strong understanding of network security, threat detection, and incident response
- Familiarity with tools such as SIEM, antivirus, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Basic knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive information confidentially
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
