Job description
DT One seeks a commercially astute, execution-oriented Business Development Manager in Dubai to drive regional growth across a global mobile top-up and digital non-cash micropayments network that interconnects 550+ mobile operators via 1,500+ partners in 160 countries. The role owns new business development, regional revenue targets, and pipeline health, grounding sales activity in clear market segmentation, defined customer personas, and repeatable go-to-market playbooks. Responsibilities include structured new business acquisition and revenue growth, regional P&L accountability, building and maintaining C-level relationships with telecommunications operators and platform partners, developing persona-based GTM approaches aligned to customer priorities and vertical pain points, leading weekly pipeline reviews and reporting on commercial KPIs, sales activity, opportunity conversion, and forecast accuracy, identifying and executing commercial initiatives such as ODM platform adoption, ecosystem expansion, and monetization of untapped opportunities, serving as the strategic voice of the customer internally while collaborating with Product, Tech, Legal, and Finance, and representing DT One at industry events and key commercial meetings to elevate brand and business visibility. Requirements emphasize 10+ years in the telecommunications industry (minimum 5 years in commercial/business development roles), a proven network of C-suite relationships at operators, success managing large enterprise accounts and closing complex, high-value deals, demonstrated development and execution of innovative business strategies, deep understanding of mobile recharge, mobile payments, and digital distribution ecosystems, disciplined activity and commercial rigor with data-led decision-making, and academic credentials (Bachelorās in Business/Finance or related; MBA preferred).

Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent commercial training preferred
- 10+ years of telecommunications industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in commercial/business development roles
- Established network of C-level relationships within telecommunications operators
- Demonstrated success managing large enterprise accounts and closing complex, high-value deals
- Proven track record of developing and executing innovative business strategies
- Deep understanding of mobile recharge, mobile payments, and digital distribution ecosystems
