Job description
The Marketing Manager, Growth at Western Union in Dubai, UAE, is responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth within financial services, remittances, and payments. The role includes end-to-end ownership of paid performance marketing campaigns across Google, Meta, programmatic, and emerging digital channels, as well as execution of retail marketing initiatives. The position requires expertise in digital acquisition, customer segmentation and targeting, data analysis, insights reporting, pricing strategy, and campaign execution, leveraging analytics to optimize ROI, LTV, and retention metrics. The candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Growth Marketing, Customer Success, Pricing, and Operations teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless execution. The role operates in a hybrid environment, contributing to omnichannel marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, and initiatives that maximize wallet share, customer engagement, and long-term business growth.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets
- Identify and act on growth opportunities using data-driven insights
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of 360 marketing campaigns across digital and retail channels
- Develop and implement customer lifecycle management programs to increase customer lifetime value and repeat purchases
- Segment customers using data analytics and develop tailored marketing strategies for each segment
- Conduct A/B testing to refine targeting and campaign performance
- Leverage analytics tools to track customer behavior, campaign performance, and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Growth Marketing, Customer Success, Pricing, and Operations to ensure campaign execution and alignment
- Design, implement, and optimize customer loyalty programs and retention initiatives
- Work closely with pricing teams to develop competitive pricing strategies and analyze marketing ROI for performance optimization
- Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as retention, LTV, engagement, and revenue growth
- Ensure campaigns are executed efficiently, on time, and meet objectives in a multi-market, fast-paced environment
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and results orientation within the marketing team
Experience & skills
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, digital performance, and retail marketing, preferably within financial services, remittances, or payments
- Proven experience in developing and executing paid performance marketing campaigns and maximizing ROI
- Strong expertise in customer insights, pricing strategy, and business strategy
- Experience managing teams and driving multi-market initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into actionable marketing strategies
- Experience in digital acquisition, retail marketing, customer segmentation, and data-driven campaign execution
- Growth mindset, entrepreneurial approach, and strong execution orientation
- Fluent English communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with in-office presence at least three days per week
