Job description
The Senior Bilingual Copywriter role is a senior creative position responsible for leading storytelling, tone of voice, and copy development across the company’s streaming brands and initiatives. The role sits at the core of building a bold and ambitious in-house creative team and spans large-scale brand platforms and campaign ideas through to tactical social content, trailers, scripts, and culturally relevant moments. The position requires strong writing, editing, and adaptation capabilities in both Arabic and English, including Modern Standard Arabic and regional dialects when required, ensuring cultural relevance and impact across GCC and MENA audiences. The role originates and develops creative ideas while shaping how brands communicate across internal and external communications, campaigns, and business initiatives. The Senior Bilingual Copywriter owns, evolves, and protects brand tone of voice, collaborates closely with designers, motion, video, audio, and cross-functional partners, and ensures all written output aligns with brand guidelines, communication standards, and creative ambition across multiple formats and platforms.

Key responsibilities
- Lead storytelling, ideation, and copy direction across brand, campaign, and communication initiatives
- Originate and develop creative ideas across brand platforms, campaigns, social content, trailers, scripts, and cultural moments
- Develop and deliver culturally relevant copy in Arabic and English across internal and external communications and brand touchpoints
- Own, evolve, and protect tone of voice across assigned brands to ensure consistency, clarity, and creative excellence
- Adapt and localize content between Arabic and English with cultural accuracy and impact
- Collaborate with designers, motion, video, audio, and creative teams to align copy with visual execution
- Work with Brand, Marketing, Growth, Product, and Content teams to align messaging with strategic objectives
- Review, edit, and elevate copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, effectiveness, and brand alignment
- Ensure all written content adheres to brand guidelines, communication standards, and creative ambition
Experience & skills
- Be a native Arabic speaker with strong English writing and adaptation skills
- Possess 5–7 years of senior-level experience in copywriting, content, or creative roles
- Demonstrate ability to write in Modern Standard Arabic and regional dialects when required
- Maintain strong understanding of GCC and MENA audiences and cultural nuances
- Exhibit excellent editing, proofreading, and localization skills
- Show capability to write concept-first across multiple formats and platforms
- French language skills are an advantage
