Job description
The Integration Developer will play a critical leadership and hands-on role within a high-scale backend development environment. This role involves solving complex, large-scope technical problems and significantly influencing engineering standards and team objectives. The developer is expected to advocate for product quality, performance, and security, while mentoring peers and contributing to organizational-level technical strategies. The role requires active collaboration with product teams to define features, participate in roadmap planning, and ensure best practices in software engineering.

- Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance across teams.
- Solve high-complexity technical challenges with minimal support.
- Define and uphold internal engineering standards for code quality and maintainability.
- Drive technical innovation and lead experimentation in large-scale environments.
- Mentor team members and foster knowledge sharing across teams.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to align engineering work with organizational strategies.
- Evaluate and define new product features with product team input.
- Participate in creating and iterating on the engineering roadmap.
- Simplify complex technical designs through proactive stakeholder discussions.
- Develop large-scale distributed systems using Java, JEE, and Spring frameworks.
- Implement microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.
- Manage containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Experience & skills
- 12+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java/JEE/Spring frameworks.
- 3+ years of experience designing large-scale distributed systems.
- Certification in one or more: TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Solutions Architect.
- Demonstrated experience with microservices and cloud-native application development.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and related container platform ecosystems.
- Proven ability to mentor team members and contribute to strategic engineering goals.
- Experience in participating in and influencing engineering roadmaps and architecture decisions.
