Job description
OPERA system fluency, Accor's Standards of Performance, and DTCM local requirements all sit within scope for this Duty Manager role at Mövenpick Dubai Creek, where day to day Rooms Division operations get managed under those frameworks. Cashiering procedures must be strictly adhered to, and existing department procedures get reviewed with new ones proposed where they would not hinder guest service. You will manage, supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks to the standard set, assisting the Head of Department in running daily operations per the established concept statement. Delivery of the 15-Minutes Guest Satisfaction Guarantee gets ensured as per brand standard, and responsibilities get assigned to subordinates under a multi tasking principle with performance checked periodically. Arrivals and departures get processed efficiently, telephone calls handled per policy, and guest passport details submitted through the CID system on time. Rooms get pre-blocked for special requests, long stay guests, and maintenance in coordination with Housekeeping and Engineering. Guest recognition programs, up-selling activities, and competitor trend analysis fall within the marketing side of the role, supporting maximum revenue and repeat business. Training needs get identified for employees, and this role covers for the Assistant Hotel Duty Manager during off days and vacations while liaising with local police and authorities on security matters.
