Job description
The role is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Finance Product Manager in managing, growing, and expanding Supply Chain Finance (SCF) programs and developing new SCF solutions for clients across the bank’s global footprint. The position focuses on client and vendor onboarding, execution of mandated SCF transactions, revenue realization, utilization monitoring, and growth of FAB’s SCF book in line with acceptable pricing and risk parameters. The role contributes to continuous improvement of SCF products, systems, processes, and practices by analyzing client needs, market developments, and industry trends. Responsibilities include preparing bespoke reports for customers and internal product monitoring, managing transactional, fraud, regulatory, and compliance risks, and ensuring adherence to Credit, Compliance, Operational Risk, and Islamic Banking regulations. The role requires coordination with internal stakeholders, channels teams, and the secondary market distribution desk to execute secondary market deals, train customers on SCF program channels, resolve service and operational issues end-to-end, support cross-selling initiatives, and maintain strong client and supplier relationships to drive SCF utilization and pipeline growth within the Wholesale Banking and Global Treasury, Trade & Tokenization (GTx) division.

Key responsibilities
- Support the Product Manager in achieving specific revenue targets and growing the Supply Chain Finance book in line with approved pricing and risk parameters
- Ensure mandated Supply Chain Finance transactions are implemented accurately and within agreed timelines
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across SCF products, systems, processes, and practices based on client needs and market trends
- Prepare and deliver bespoke reports for customers and internal SCF product monitoring and performance tracking
- Monitor revenue realization and utilization levels across SCF deals and take corrective actions to ensure expected utilization
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the bank to develop and sustain a robust SCF deal pipeline
- Manage client escalations related to service quality, transactions, and operational efficiency on an end-to-end basis
- Proactively manage transactional risk while identifying and mitigating fraud, regulatory, and compliance risks within SCF programs
- Ensure compliance with all applicable banking regulations, internal policies, Credit, Compliance, Operational Risk, and Islamic Banking requirements
- Coordinate with channel development and support teams to train customers on SCF program channels, resolve channel-related issues, and support cross-selling opportunities
- Collaborate with the secondary market distribution desk to execute secondary market transactions
Experience & skills
- Hold a Degree, Diploma, or Post Graduate Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Communication, or a related discipline with Business or Management Studies
- Possess a minimum of 5+ years of Transaction Banking experience with specialized knowledge in Cash Management Products and Channels or Coverage Banking experience managing cash management–intensive client portfolios
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in origination, client relationship development, and active portfolio management
- Exhibit strong technical knowledge of Supply Chain Finance products, including hands-on exposure to SCF platforms
- Show a solid understanding of operational processes, procedures, and associated risks within SCF transactions
- Maintain familiarity with the regulatory environment governing the UAE banking and financial services industry
