Job description
The Graphic Designer - Marketing at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab plays a key creative role in supporting the hotel’s marketing and communications initiatives through high-quality visual design. Reporting to the Marketing team, the position is based at Jumeirah’s flagship luxury property in Dubai and contributes to promoting one of the world’s most iconic hotels. The role involves developing and producing premium marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and digital assets, ensuring alignment with Jumeirah’s global brand standards and visual identity. The designer will create compelling digital content across social media, websites, and email marketing campaigns, optimized for various digital platforms and audiences. The position requires close collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team to conceptualize and deliver innovative design solutions that enhance brand visibility and support promotional campaigns. Additional responsibilities include managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within brand and budget constraints, maintaining brand consistency across all marketing channels, and integrating stakeholder feedback into final designs. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within the hospitality or luxury sector, and possess a strong creative portfolio demonstrating an eye for visual detail and storytelling. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required, and knowledge of video editing software is advantageous. - Support cross-departmental requests for design and promotional materials while maintaining adherence to brand tone and visual integrity.
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within the hospitality or luxury sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related creative discipline.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; familiarity with video editing tools is a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design excellence, creativity, and understanding of luxury branding.
- Excellent project management and multitasking skills with attention to detail and deadline adherence.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with marketing and cross-functional teams.
