Job description
MENA-listed companies across banks, real estate, telcos and utilities, consumer, industrials, energy and transportation make up the coverage universe for this Senior Associate at Ghobash Trading & Investment in Dubai. Advanced financial models with forecasts, scenarios and sensitivities underpin valuations built on DCF, Gordon Growth, Residual Income and relative frameworks. Research reports carry clear buy, sell or hold recommendations backed by performance, catalysts and valuation. Management meetings, investor conferences and conversations with sell-side analysts feed the work, alongside close tracking of disclosures, earnings and macro, regulatory and geopolitical developments. Investment proposals are presented to the Investment Committee, and new ideas come from screening primary and secondary opportunities across the region. Portfolio exposures, risk factors and performance attribution are reviewed with the Portfolio Manager. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in business or a related field and 10 years in equity research, investment analysis or portfolio management, including at least 6 covering UAE and GCC markets. Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic are mandatory, along with confident use of Bloomberg or Eikon.
