Job description
Polymer and chemical production in Jubail runs through the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, and this Production Planning Engineer prepares the plans that balance supply chain, marketers and operations. Yearly grade-wise splits need to stay in line with the business plan, and grade-level alignment between manufacturing and business is part of the SBU PetChem budget cycle. Joint venture off-takers are monitored for compliance with off-take agreements (OTA) and supply-demand accuracy. Production data goes into the IBP module in SAP, accurately and on time. Customer complaints from JV customers are tracked to balance satisfaction with process efficiency. Day-to-day planning and scheduling activity is watched closely against targets. Management receives regular analysis, statistical reports and S&OP compliance and supply accuracy KPIs.
