AMET supply chain operations at Amazon are looking to automate more of what they do, and this senior technical program manager sets that direction using AWS and SCOT technology. An automation strategy aligned with Amazon's supply chain goals comes first, with priority areas, project order and measurable success metrics defined up front. Projects then run under your lead from idea and requirements through implementation and post-launch support, with timelines, budgets, resources and risks managed closely. AWS services such as Amazon SageMaker, Comprehend, Rekognition, Lambda, S3 and EC2 are evaluated and recommended where they fit best. Engineering and operations teams work with you on functional requirements, technical specifications and system integration within AWS. Performance of live solutions is tracked with analytics tools, and improvements follow. Vendors supplying automation equipment and AWS integration services are managed and their contracts negotiated. Senior supply chain leaders and specialists also build their automation capability with your mentoring. Three years of software development and five years of technical program management with engineering teams are required, along with cross-functional program experience. Project management across scope, schedule, budget, quality and critical path, plus experience setting KPIs and SLAs for multi-million dollar businesses, is preferred.
