Job description
The Store Manager role in Doha, Qatar is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of a fashion retail store to ensure a seamless and positive shopping experience while achieving financial and operational targets. The role drives store sales performance and KPIs, controls shrinkage to remain below 0.2% of cost of sale, and ensures adherence to visual merchandising standards, security measures, and company policies. Responsibilities include conducting financial and stock audits, maintaining store dashboards, managing employee records such as leave management, passport records, performance and conduct history, and roster scheduling. The Store Manager leads customer experience initiatives including club apparel programs, NPS, and DSES targets, maintains relationships with mall management, and communicates effectively with back-office teams. The position also focuses on people management, recruitment, training, performance management, and continuous skill development to build a pipeline of future store managers, while ensuring effective merchandise replenishment, back-store operations, and ongoing compliance with operational and safety standards.

Key responsibilities
- Drive the store team to achieve sales targets, store KPIs, club apparel goals, NPS, and DSES objectives
- Ensure store shrinkage remains below 0.2% of cost of sale through audits, controls, and security enforcement
- Conduct regular financial audits and stock audits and maintain accurate store dashboards and performance reports
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure effective back-store operations and merchandise replenishment
- Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures and compliance with company policies
- Recruit, train, develop, and manage store employees, including performance management, conduct, and roster planning
- Maintain employee records including leave management, passport documentation, and performance history
- Manage store expenses, budgets, and financial goals while analyzing sales performance and implementing action plans
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to exceed customer expectations and enhance engagement
- Communicate regularly with higher management, mall management, and back-office teams on store performance and operational matters
- Identify team learning gaps, conduct training sessions, and develop future store management talent
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate a minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in a customer-centric retail role with strong management responsibility
- Show proven success in achieving and exceeding store sales targets and KPI objectives
- Apply strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities within a fashion retail environment
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field
