Job description
This role is responsible for managing and overseeing end-to-end outbound logistics operations within the JAFZA Free Zone, Dubai, for PUMA’s GCC operations. The position focuses on ensuring efficient fulfilment and delivery of customer orders while driving operational efficiency, cost control, and strict compliance with company policies and UAE-GCC regulatory frameworks. The role involves executing and optimizing outbound processes including Pick & Pack, Pack & Hold, final dispatch activities, and maintaining critical financial and trade documentation such as Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantee (BG), and Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC) records, along with bank submissions. It requires deep involvement in export documentation and adherence to regulatory systems such as SABER, including seasonal regulations, audits, and evolving compliance requirements. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure seamless order fulfilment, while also maintaining strong coordination with accounts payable for billing control, monthly vendor invoicing closure, and financial provisioning. The role also demands establishing, tracking, and improving KPI reporting frameworks to monitor logistics performance and drive continuous improvement. Additionally, the position requires building and maintaining strategic partnerships with logistics providers and internal departments, while ensuring compliance with local trade systems and authorities such as Dubai Trade, MOFA, JAFZA customs, and Chamber of Commerce. The role leverages enterprise systems including SAP, ERP systems, and MS Office to manage operations, reporting, and data accuracy. Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma methodologies and professional certifications such as CTLP or CILT are considered advantageous for process optimization and operational excellence.
