Job description
The Senior Project Controls Manager (M3) at Mace in Abu Dhabi is responsible for supervising the delivery of PMO and project control services across a diverse portfolio of construction, master planning, and executive fit-out projects. The role focuses on driving client-focused outcomes, providing strategic direction, maintaining service excellence, and upholding governance standards. The Senior Project Controls Manager acts as a trusted advisor, building strong client relationships, providing subject matter expertise, and mentoring teams to foster innovation, talent development, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include managing safety, compliance, reporting, risk analysis, baselines, and frameworks, while delivering executive-level reports, presentations, and briefings. The position supports alignment with Mace strategy and performance frameworks and champions sustainability and net zero transition initiatives.

- Supervise delivery of PMO and project control services across assigned commissions
- Guide implementation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
- Manage safety, well-being, compliance, and sustainable project delivery
- Drive client-focused outcomes through strategic direction, service excellence, and industry engagement
- Mentor and develop teams, fostering innovation, talent growth, and opportunity to excel
- Direct PMO and project controls performance, design frameworks, and manage delivery across projects
- Act as a trusted advisor, building strong client relationships and providing subject matter expertise
- Drive governance, reporting, baselines, risk analysis, and compliance to achieve objectives
- Deliver executive-level reports, presentations, and briefing packs for senior leadership
- Support resourcing and champion innovation and net zero transition
Experience & skills
- Chartered status or professional membership with RICS, CIOB, APM, or ICE
- Proven PMO and project controls leadership on major programmes
- Strong commercial, financial, and stakeholder management expertise
- Knowledge of sustainability principles, risk tools, and project frameworks
- Experience in cross-entity coordination and public sector performance frameworks (preferred)
