Job description
Honeywell is seeking an Advanced Cyber Security Architect/Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and operational support of advanced cybersecurity solutions across diverse industrial and enterprise environments. The role acts as a subject matter expert for complex technical challenges, taking a hands-on approach to strengthening defenses against emerging cyber threats. Responsibilities include designing secure architectures, configuring network, Windows, and cybersecurity products during project execution, providing ongoing operational troubleshooting, leading incident response activities, and performing digital analysis to protect critical systems and information assets. The position requires extensive travel to remote sites, rapid on-site response during emergencies, strong documentation practices for configurations and incidents, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and technical excellence within Honeywellās global cybersecurity operations.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Design and deploy advanced cybersecurity architectures and solutions to protect critical systems and assets
- Serve as the subject matter expert for complex cybersecurity, network, and Windows-related technical challenges
- Configure and implement network, Microsoft Windows, and cybersecurity products during on-site project execution
- Provide ongoing operational support through troubleshooting of network, Windows, and cybersecurity issues
- Lead incident response activities and perform digital analysis to investigate and mitigate security incidents
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation including configurations, incidents, resolutions, and design documents
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and project teams to deliver secure and resilient solutions
- Stay current with evolving cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices
- Travel extensively to customer and remote sites and respond on-site within contractual emergency response timelines
Experience & skills
- Possess a minimum of 7 years of professional cybersecurity experience
- Demonstrate strong expertise in cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices
- Hold relevant professional certifications including CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, VCP, and Microsoft certifications
- Be able to report on-site within 4 hours during emergency situations as per customer contractual obligations
- Be willing to travel up to 90% of the time for project execution and operational support
- Demonstrate experience in network architecture, cybersecurity risk management, and risk assessment
