Job description
The Professional Services Specialist is responsible for delivering implementation, installation, and support services for Foodicsâ SaaS-based restaurant management and payment technology platform within Kuwait. The role focuses on deploying POS systems including hardware installation and Foodics software installation, ensuring that customer sites are properly prepared and operational prior to deployment. The specialist provides initial product onboarding and training for customers, including backend system training and on-site technical support, handling both standard and emergency service requests. Responsibilities include scheduling installation appointments, conducting on-site visits, and ensuring service delivery aligns with defined SLAs through task monitoring and project tracking. The role requires continuous product knowledge development through self-learning, product testing, and early adoption of system updates to effectively deliver new features. The specialist gathers and communicates customer feedback to management for product and installation improvements. The position operates within a SaaS and Cloud POS ecosystem, requiring knowledge of POS systems, ERP systems, and technical troubleshooting, while supporting customers across the F&B industry. The role includes travel within Kuwait for installations and site visits, and may require handling support requests outside working hours. The position demands proficiency in English and Arabic, hands-on technical support capabilities, and the ability to work independently across multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
- Implement hardware and Foodics software installation for POS systems at customer sites ensuring readiness and operational setup
- Deliver initial product onboarding and customer training including backend system training and on-site technical instruction
- Schedule installation appointments with clients and verify site readiness prior to deployment activities
- Provide on-site technical support and handle service requests including normal and emergency cases in alignment with SLAs
- Monitor assigned tasks and projects ensuring timely delivery of services and adherence to SLA requirements
- Conduct site visits and attend customer calls including outside working hours and public holidays when required
- Collect and communicate customer feedback regarding product features and installation improvements to management
- Continuously build product knowledge through self-learning, product testing, and reviewing system updates
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to POS systems, SaaS platforms, and hardware installations
- Travel within Kuwait and potentially outside to support installations, training, and technical service delivery
Experience & skills
- Hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Networking, Computer Information System, or Computer Science
- Possess 1â2 years of experience in Information Technology, Software, or SaaS product environments
- Demonstrate experience in hardware installation, software installation, and POS systems deployment
- Exhibit knowledge of Cloud POS and ERP systems as an advantage
- Demonstrate ability to deliver customer training and on-site technical support services
- Possess experience in SLA-based service delivery, task monitoring, and project tracking
- Demonstrate proficiency in English and Arabic for communication and customer interaction
- Own a personal vehicle for business-related travel including installations, site visits, and training
- Show willingness to travel within Kuwait and across different cities as required
- Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support SaaS platforms in a fast-paced environment
