Job description
The Cyber Security & Digital Trust – Resilience role within PwC’s Digital & Cyber Consulting practice in Riyadh focuses on advising clients across the GCC on building operational and technology resilience as part of large-scale, strategy-based transformation initiatives. Operating under the supervision of cybersecurity leadership, the role supports clients through the full lifecycle of resilience and digital trust engagements, from strategy development through execution. The position emphasizes embedding resilience measures that enable organizations to prevent, respond to, recover from, and learn from operational disruptions and incidents, with specific focus on critical services, third parties, technology, data, premises, and people. The consultant contributes to the development and implementation of resilience frameworks, policies, and standards, leads end-to-end disaster recovery enhancement initiatives aligned with business continuity and hybrid infrastructure requirements, and designs resilient disaster recovery strategies across on-premises, multi-cloud, and third-party services. The role includes conducting resilience maturity assessments and gap analyses against industry frameworks, developing realistic disaster recovery scenarios such as ransomware attacks, data center outages, and cloud service disruptions, integrating cyber recovery and ransomware response practices into DR planning, aligning recovery strategies with compliance and audit requirements, and supporting disaster management, emergency preparedness, and risk reduction frameworks. The position also involves advising on cloud-native DR, automation, and orchestration for SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms, evaluating existing tools, recommending vendor-neutral DR solutions, conducting workshops and knowledge transfer sessions, and ensuring tight integration between disaster recovery and Business Continuity Planning to maintain uninterrupted critical services.
