Job description
A portfolio of high-profile retail, leisure, and mixed-use destinations across Dubai sits behind this General Manager role, owned by a leading real estate developer known for curating standout retail environments and managing landmark assets that draw regional and international visitors. You will lead the overall strategy and execution of operational, commercial, and financial performance across the portfolio, managing asset-level P&L including budgeting, forecasting, Capex planning, and Opex optimization. Asset management strategies get developed and implemented to maximize revenue, profitability, and long-term value creation, with tenant trading performance monitored closely alongside leasing teams to optimize tenant mix. Retailers and marketing teams become close partners in driving footfall, customer engagement, and sales growth. Day-to-day asset operations fall under the same oversight, covering facilities management, security, cleaning, waste management, and health and safety. Regular asset management reports get produced, covering financial performance, operational metrics, commercial outcomes, and strategic initiatives. Market research, competitor benchmarking, and retail trade analysis feed into identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, while partnership with development and project management teams shapes asset enhancements, repositioning initiatives, and capital projects. Leading and developing cross-functional teams rounds out the role, keeping operations running smoothly and customer experiences strong across every asset.
