Job description
As a trusted technical advisor in pre-sales engagements, your mission is to win the technical decision by delivering tailored demonstrations, orchestrating proof-of-concept deployments, and leading whiteboarding sessions that align with customer business outcomes. You will partner closely with AI Workforce Specialists and field sellers to uncover customer challenges, architect secure and scalable endpoint solutions, and drive adoption of Windows 365. This role is deeply technical, requiring expert-level proficiency across Microsoftâs endpoint and virtualization solutions, including Windows 365, Windows 365 Link, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, Entra ID, and Cloud Native Management.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain expert-level technical subject matter expertise in Microsoft products and differentiators including Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, Entra ID, and related endpoint and virtualization solutions.
- Scale customer engagements and act as a trusted advisor and consultative technical seller by maintaining advanced discovery, demo, delivery, and whiteboarding skills.
- Build technical strategy and remain current on Microsoft product strengths and competitor weaknesses to remove competitive blockers and secure technical decisions.
- Design and validate solutions through proof-of-concept deployments, differentiating Microsoft in complex selling environments by reframing customer challenges, sharing insights, and quantifying business impact.
- Gain deep understanding of customer business requirements and motivate action by demonstrating measurable outcomes.
- Identify when and how to escalate blockers, address customer objections, and resolve technical blockers in collaboration with internal teams.
- Engage and collaborate in partner sell-with scenarios, supporting partners with technical knowledge and joint engagement activities.
- Support pre-sales by delivering technical presentations, workshops, and solution architecture tailored to enterprise customersâ endpoint transformation needs.
- Contribute to adoption and scale of Microsoftâs AI Business Solutions across enterprise endpoints while ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and cloud-ready.
Experience & skills
- 5+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoftâs endpoint and virtualization technologies including Windows 365, Windows 365 Link, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, Entra ID, and cloud native endpoint management.
- Proven ability to deliver customized product demonstrations, orchestrate proof-of-concept deployments, and lead technical whiteboarding sessions.
- Experience in competitive analysis, solution differentiation, and positioning Microsoft against competitor offerings.
- Strong skills in solution design, technical presentations, and pre-sales customer engagement.
- Ability to manage objections, escalate and resolve blockers effectively within customer and internal contexts.
- Familiarity with partner collaboration models, including partner-led technical engagements and co-sell activities.
- Strong foundation in cloud platforms, endpoint security, AI-driven business solutions, and enterprise IT architecture.
