Job description
Day-to-day management of construction activities on an aviation project in Riyadh needs a steady hand on site, and that's the core of this Senior Site Supervision Engineer role. You'll act as the Client or Consultant's primary site representative, leading and overseeing construction activities as they happen. Contractor site activities get managed and coordinated to keep compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and applicable standards. Construction progress and performance get monitored against the approved schedule, with delays, risks and corrective actions flagged as soon as they surface. Civil, Structural, Architectural and MEP disciplines all need coordinating on site, working in close partnership with dedicated HSE and QA/QC teams. Shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and RFIs get reviewed and given technical input before work proceeds. Regular site inspections track workmanship, materials, testing and installation against quality requirements. Airport stakeholders, authorities, contractors and consultants all coordinate through this role, since aviation projects carry constraints a standard site doesn't. Testing, commissioning, snagging and handover activities get coordinated as the project moves toward completion, with as-built drawings and O&M manuals tracked along the way.
