Job description
The Senior Proficient – Pricing Strategy role within Omantel’s Large Enterprise Segment is responsible for leading pricing strategy and commercial governance for enterprise Mobile, Fixed, and ICT services in Oman’s telecommunications sector. The role drives the design and implementation of innovative and bespoke enterprise pricing structures, ensuring offerings are competitive, compliant with regulatory and internal policies, and profitable. The position supports large-scale B2B deals through strategic pricing development, bid and tender management, revenue planning, and long-term growth initiatives. Responsibilities include conducting detailed financial, commercial, and competitive analysis; developing business cases, feasibility studies, and scenario models; establishing pricing governance frameworks; and leading pricing inputs for RFPs, RFQs, and government tenders. The role ensures alignment with Omantel’s enterprise growth objectives, collaborates closely with Sales, Product, Finance, Technical, Legal, Strategic Finance, Market Research, and Business Intelligence teams, and continuously monitors competitor pricing and tariff movements to maintain market positioning. The role also reviews pricing performance of existing products, manages price change requests, and ensures full compliance with regulatory standards across the bid lifecycle.

Key responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative pricing structures for enterprise Mobile, Fixed, and ICT services including bespoke solutions
- Conduct financial, commercial, and competitive analysis to support pricing decisions for new and existing products
- Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and scenario models to evaluate pricing propositions
- Establish and enforce pricing governance frameworks to ensure profitability and compliance
- Lead enterprise pricing strategy formulation aligned with Omantel growth objectives
- Drive pricing strategy and commercial input for RFPs, RFQs, and government tenders
- Develop tailored commercial proposals that balance client requirements and margin protection
- Ensure compliance with internal pricing policies and external regulatory standards
- Define pricing-related business requirements and review price change requests
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Finance, Technical, Legal, and Bid Management teams on pricing execution
- Liaise with Strategic Finance to validate pricing models and financial assumptions
- Partner with Market Research and Business Intelligence teams to gather competitive insights
- Conduct regular pricing performance reviews of existing enterprise products
- Monitor competitor pricing and tariff movements and recommend strategic actions
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Statistics or Engineering
- Possess 8–15 years of experience in pricing, commercial strategy or telecom enterprise services
- Demonstrate experience in enterprise Mobile, Fixed and ICT pricing
- Demonstrate experience in RFP, RFQ and government tender pricing
- Demonstrate strong background in financial modeling, feasibility studies and business case development
- Demonstrate ability to operate within pricing governance and regulatory frameworks
