Job description
The Senior Broker at ADIB Securities in Dubai is responsible for executing client trades on the ADX and DFM exchanges while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies, including AML/CTF and client onboarding. The role involves driving sales through new business development, cold calling, and digital outreach, with a focus on high-net-worth clients. The broker must maintain a deep understanding of UAE/GCC financial market regulations, trading frameworks, and commission structures. They are expected to deliver strategic portfolio advice, monitor market trends, and manage risks including overdue settlements. Supervisory duties include mentoring junior brokers, promoting ethical conduct, identifying training needs, and maintaining high service standards. The position requires fluency in English, with Arabic being a plus, and mandates an SCA broker license with demonstrated expertise in client-facing equity trading roles, portfolio management, and the use of tools such as Bloomberg and Reuters Eikon.

Key responsibilities
- Execute client trades on the ADX and DFM in full compliance with market regulations
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and digital channels
- Conduct client meetings to assess financial goals, risk tolerance, and trading objectives
- Ensure adherence to ADIB and ADIB Securities policies for client onboarding and AML/CTF
- Stay updated on market and regulatory changes, and advise clients accordingly
- Promote and grow business relationships with new and existing clients
- Assist in planning and executing sales and growth strategies
- Monitor and advise on portfolio performance and market movements
- Represent ADIB at financial industry events for brand promotion and networking
- Manage client satisfaction and resolve complaints promptly
- Monitor trade settlements, follow up on overdue trades, and ensure compliance with market control norms
- Document all correspondence and maintain complete trade records
- Lead, mentor, and manage junior brokers and support staff
- Promote a high-ethics, compliant, and collaborative work environment
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field
- SCA-licensed broker (mandatory)
- 5–8 years of experience in equity trading, portfolio management, and client relationship roles
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters Eikon, and investment data tools
- Strong understanding of UAE and GCC market regulations including margin trading
- Demonstrated success in managing HNW client portfolios or large-scale trades
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are desirable
