Job description
Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates sits in the heart of Dubai, connected directly to one of the city's biggest malls, and this Director role owns the Food & Beverage department that helps define the property. You'll drive the top line of Food & Beverage while keeping operations sustainable and profitable, reporting to the Hotel Manager. Budgets get prepared and consolidated yearly with Finance, and monthly income statements get reviewed outlet by outlet in performance meetings with Outlet Management. Daily operations briefings run with the Executive Chef, alongside regular Food & Beverage meetings that keep the whole department aligned. Every service gets overseen at least once a week, from breakfast and lunch through to banqueting, room service and the bar. Suppliers get sourced and partnered with directly, always working to improve product quality and strengthen the relationships behind it. Guest satisfaction gets tracked through tools like Leading Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction Surveys, with complaints handled promptly and courteously. A yearly marketing plan gets built with Sales & Marketing, backed by competitor analysis, on-site inspections of local F&B offerings and a read on global trends. Corporate policies, procedures and initiatives get implemented as the main point of contact to the Corporate Food & Beverage Team.
