Job description
Cognizant is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Project & Delivery Manager specializing in the implementation of Oracle Primavera and Oracle Primavera Unifier solutions. The role involves leading projects through all phases of the lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to go-live and post-implementation support. The position requires strong project management acumen, technical expertise in Primavera products, and excellent client relationship management skills. The successful candidate will manage cross-functional teams, oversee configurations and customizations, drive testing and quality assurance, and ensure effective client adoption. This role emphasizes risk management, continuous improvement, and delivery of high-value solutions that meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of Oracle Primavera and Unifier implementation projects
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact
- Conduct workshops and interviews to gather business requirements and translate them into solution designs
- Oversee configuration, customization, and integration of Primavera solutions
- Lead, mentor, and manage diverse project teams including consultants and developers
- Define and execute testing strategies including unit, system, integration, and UAT
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and administrators
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while managing scope changes
- Implement project controls, track progress, manage budgets, and report status
- Manage go-live transitions and provide post-implementation support
- Promote best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of methodologies
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years of IT/software project management experience
- 5+ years leading Oracle Primavera P6 and/or Unifier projects
- Deep functional and technical understanding of Primavera P6
- Extensive experience configuring Primavera Unifier modules such as Cost Controls, Document Manager, and BPM workflows
- Proven ability to manage the full software development or implementation lifecycle
- Strong understanding of project controls, cost management, and earned value management
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional project teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
- PMP, Prince2, or SAFe certification (preferred)
- Oracle Primavera Unifier certification (preferred)
- Experience with integrations between Primavera and enterprise systems such as SAP
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL
