Job description
Head of Sales role within Al-Futtaim Automotive for CJDR, positioned as a core member of the management team representing the retail sales team and the customer in boardroom decision-making. Accountable for driving sales performance and growth for the brand across the UAE by leading strategic initiatives to achieve volume, revenue, and profit targets across both new and pre-owned vehicles, ensuring alignment with the company mission, vision, and brand standards. Develops and executes sales strategies to maximize market share and profitability and drives performance across the national sales network to ensure sustainable growth. Leads, motivates, and coaches the retail sales team to deliver results and brings customer insights and sales team perspectives into strategic decision-making. Monitors market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Requires 10+ years in automotive sales management including at least 3 years at national/regional level, with experience in American brands considered an advantage; proven ability to execute sales strategies with measurable results; strong experience achieving sales targets and managing customer conflicts; and solid understanding of OEM standards and regulatory compliance. Role context includes working within a results-driven management team focused on delivering premium customer experiences and sustainable growth, with expectations around leading large diverse retail sales teams, understanding UAE market dynamics and customer behavior, and language requirements including English fluency with Arabic fluency an advantage.

- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize market share and profitability across the UAE for the brand

Experience & skills
- Have 10+ years of experience in automotive sales management including at least 3 years at national or regional level
- Bring extensive experience in retail sales within the automotive industry and demonstrated success leading large, diverse sales teams
- Demonstrate proven ability to execute sales strategies with measurable results and consistently achieve sales targets
- Maintain strong experience managing customer conflicts in a retail automotive sales environment
- Hold solid understanding of OEM standards and regulatory compliance requirements
- Demonstrate strong understanding of UAE market dynamics and customer behavior
- Be fluent in English with Arabic fluency an advantage and be able to communicate and present effectively in senior forums
