Job description
Deals stall when the person who owns them is out of the office, and this Business Coordination Manager role exists to make sure that never happens across Edenred UAE's commercial portfolio. Sitting alongside the Commercial Director rather than replacing them, the position holds the commercial deal together end to end across direct sales, account management, Exchange House partners, and banking partners. You will own the commercial deal from the first qualified opportunity through to a signed, live client, keeping sales, account management, product, compliance, legal, operations, and finance moving so every step has an owner and a date. Coverage for Account Managers and Sales colleagues falls within scope too, picking up client escalations and live opportunities whenever an owner is unavailable. Exchange House partners get a consistent day to day commercial contact through this role, and the commercial side of banking partner relationships receives ongoing support. One clear view of the commercial portfolio, covering pipeline, renewals, open escalations, and accounts at risk, gets reported to the Commercial Director on a fixed cadence. Compliance and Legal come in early wherever a deal moves away from standard terms, and CRM records stay accurate so reporting and forecasting can be relied on. This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports, working across the UAE market to support Edenred's payroll services for unbanked employees.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Own the commercial deal from the first qualified opportunity through to a signed, live client, keeping every function moving with an owner and a date at each step
- Cover for Account Managers when they are out of the office, picking up client escalations and handing back a clear position on their return
- Support Sales in the same way, keeping live opportunities moving and responding to client and prospect requests
- Act as the day-to-day commercial contact for Exchange House partners and support the commercial side of banking partner relationships
- Maintain one clear view of the commercial portfolio, including pipeline, renewals, open escalations, and accounts at risk, and report it on a fixed cadence
- Analyse why accounts are growing or slipping and bring recommendations rather than a status update
- Operate within a clear delegated authority, escalating promptly where a decision sits above that mandate
- Confirm that client commitments can be delivered and priced correctly, bringing in Compliance and Legal early wherever a deal moves off standard terms
- Keep CRM and commercial records accurate so reporting and forecasting can be relied on
- Facilitate the onboarding of new clients and partners and ensure a complete handover from sales to account management
Experience & skills
- Bring 5+ years in a commercial, account management, sales operations, or business coordination role, ideally in payments, fintech, payroll, or B2B services
- Show a practical understanding of how a commercial deal is constructed, covering pricing, contract terms, approvals, onboarding, and revenue recognition
- Take decisions comfortably within a defined mandate, and know clearly where that mandate ends and escalation begins
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, building a portfolio view and turning it into a recommendation rather than a data dump
- Carry credibility with clients and partners, holding an escalation confidently without the account owner present
- Stay highly organised, running multiple deals and escalations in parallel without losing detail
- Work comfortably across product, compliance, legal, operations, and finance to secure the input a deal needs
- Share knowledge and mentor peers as a collaborative team member, noting this role carries no direct reports
- Maintain solid knowledge of the UAE market and the WPS/payroll environment
