Job description
The Senior Business Analyst role contributes to the development of portfolio strategies and supports translating strategic objectives into operational plans to achieve Business Development function goals and client expectations. The role supports the assessment of feasibility studies and program business cases, including financial KPIs and non-financial KPIs, and evaluates internal resourcing requirements and external resourcing requirements to ensure alignment with program sustainability, labour market impact, and long-term value creation. The position prepares and presents program cases, anticipated impact, and cost-benefit analysis to internal and external stakeholders while coordinating with the Stakeholder Management function to support stakeholder alignment and ongoing engagement. The role supports the day-to-day program delivery management of assigned programs, including program monitoring and program reporting, ensuring availability of resources, tracking progress against operational plans, and supporting corrective actions required for successful program execution. The position also supports business development activities in line with approved portfolio strategy development and operational planning, contributing to the creation of a sustainable and value-driven opportunity pipeline development process while maintaining awareness of the KSA and international labour market context. The role may perform additional duties as required by the direct manager within the scope of responsibilities related to business development, feasibility studies, financial analysis, project management, labour market analysis, and program sustainability assessment.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and contribute to portfolio strategy development initiatives by supporting the translation of strategic objectives into detailed operational planning activities, ensuring that Business Development function goals, organizational priorities, and client expectations are effectively reflected in actionable program plans and implementation frameworks.
- Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies and support program business case development by analyzing financial KPIs and non-financial KPIs, evaluating internal resourcing requirements and external resourcing requirements, and assessing program sustainability, labour market impact, and long-term value creation across proposed initiatives and projects.
- Prepare, structure, and deliver detailed program cases including anticipated economic and social impact assessments and cost-benefit analysis, presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders while coordinating closely with the Stakeholder Management function to maintain stakeholder alignment and support ongoing engagement throughout the program lifecycle.
- Monitor and support the day-to-day program delivery management of assigned initiatives by implementing program monitoring and program reporting mechanisms, tracking program performance against operational plans, ensuring the availability of required resources, and identifying and supporting corrective actions necessary for successful program execution.
- Analyze labour market analysis insights related to the KSA and international labour market to ensure that program development and implementation remain aligned with current workforce trends, sector demands, and policy priorities that influence business development and program sustainability.
- Support business development initiatives by identifying potential opportunities, contributing to the development of a sustainable and value-driven opportunity pipeline development framework, and ensuring alignment between proposed initiatives, approved portfolio strategy development priorities, and long-term organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal units responsible for business development, program monitoring, financial analysis, and stakeholder management to ensure integrated planning, coordinated execution, and consistent reporting across programs and strategic initiatives.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the direct manager within the scope of responsibilities associated with feasibility studies, financial analysis, project management, program sustainability assessment, labour market analysis, and business development operations.
Experience & skills
- Obtain a university degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration Management, or a similar academic discipline that supports competencies in business analysis, program evaluation, financial analysis, and strategic planning within business development and organizational program environments.
- Demonstrate strong experience or proven professional exposure in performing financial analysis, including evaluation of financial KPIs and non-financial KPIs, cost-benefit analysis, and program business case development for initiatives related to business development, operational planning, and strategic portfolio management.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in conducting feasibility studies and program sustainability assessment activities, including evaluation of internal resourcing requirements and external resourcing requirements required for program implementation and long-term value creation.
- Demonstrate familiarity with labour market analysis, particularly awareness of the KSA labour market and international labour market trends, and apply this knowledge to support program design, workforce impact assessments, and strategic business development planning.
- Demonstrate practical experience in project management and program delivery management processes, including program monitoring, program reporting, progress tracking against operational plans, and the identification of corrective actions required to ensure successful program execution.
- Demonstrate capability in preparing structured program cases, analytical reports, and presentations that communicate anticipated program impact, cost-benefit analysis outcomes, and business case insights to internal stakeholders and external stakeholders involved in program governance and decision-making.
- Possess the ability to contribute effectively to portfolio strategy development and operational planning processes that support organizational business development objectives and the creation of sustainable opportunity pipeline development initiatives.
- Hold a postgraduate degree as a preferred qualification or demonstrate proven professional experience in a similar role involving financial analysis, feasibility studies, business development support, and project management within complex program or strategic initiative environments.
